These shorts from G4Free are not cheaply priced, and so that does imply they should be of good quality. Yes they are using quality material.The fit of medium is a match to the ad size chart . The pockets are full size and seem to be strongly stitched.The waistband is wide and also seems to be nicely stitched, with good quality elastic.The material is supposed to be quick dry and water resistant so great for sweaty work out.

Now, I may not like the length of these but boy, do I love the feel and I'll get a better can wearing these.So i'm gonna call these my hoochie daddy shorts. But on all seriousness, they fit really well, and they're super comfortable.I just wish they were a little bit longer. But not enough to lower my review any.Because these are great

Based on the sizing chart on the listing, I purchased a size medium for my husband. His waist size is 33 inches. They fit him comfortably, but he said he probably would be more comfortable in a size large for a looser fit. The material is quick dry so the shorts feel more like swimwear than casual shorts. They are great for around the house or very casual party. Length of the legs is comfortable for him. The legs fall to about ¾ of his thighs. For reference, his pant length is 32 inches. I ordered the dark navy and they were true to the color. I’ve included some photos of the size Medium shorts with a tape measure for reference. One picture shows the depth of the pockets and there is a hidden zippered pocket on one side.

The lightweight fabric is genuinely noticeable when you're moving around in heat and they don't feel heavy or clingy the way some shorts do. The fit through the waist and thighs is generous without being baggy, so there's enough room to move comfortably but they stay in place when you're walking or scrambling over rocks. The hidden zip pocket on the right side actually holds my phone securely without creating an odd bulge, which I appreciated more than I expected to. Water resistance worked when I splashed through a creek. Fabric dried pretty fast afterward, though I wouldn't call it truly waterproof if you're submerging them intentionally. The stitching and fabric quality seem solid. They deliver on the quality and remind me of some much more expensive brands.

This is a comfortable, breathable set of shorts that are good for highly active activities. They are stretchy and do dry quickly with this material, but I gave it 4 stars because there isn't a liner, so you're right up against the material. This can be ideal for some activities, but I prefer to have that extra support and breathability. These are otherwise great and have the pocket as it says.

These hiking shorts are true to fit for my normal size of XL. I am 6 ft and 220 lbs. and they fit perfectly.The design, construction and sewing are above average and good quality.The outside textured feels somewhat rough to touch but I actually like it as it seems to also resist showing wrinkles. Likely the 10% Elastane (Lycra) causes the non-slick feel but more importantly provides the elasticity and form-fitting properties of the hiking shorts. The inside is lined with a soft and comfortable material.Contrary to other reviews, neither Lycra nor Nylon are considered highly breathable fabrics. Lycra is a synthetic, hydrophobic (water-repelling) fiber and does not breath well if at all, and nylon is generally not considered a highly breathable fabric.When I tested it under a faucet the water ran off of the shorts like water on a duck’s back, so even though the product specs do not mention any water resisting attributes, my faucet says otherwise. For many this will be more important than breathability.For outdoor hiking, or any outdoor sport I think this is perfect solution of design and materials. The waistband seems very supportive, and the drawstring works well and when tied the shorts feel very secure on my waist. The zippered compartment in the right pocket will give you peace of mind that your car keys are still there after a long hike.Overall, I was really impressed by this product enough to order another pair in a different color. I would highly recommend this product.

Lightweight fabric that is breathable although the textured finish is a little rougher feeling on the outside.Wide stronger elastic waist, supplemented by a tie draw string that can be tied tighter.Nice deep front pockets with a deep zipped pocket to keep items from falling out.Size for me ran a bit small. I normally take a small, but according to the size chart the small is 32-34" waist and I am a 31" waist so I was concerned a small would be too large for me. I ordered a XS as it said it was for a 30-32" waist, but it was a bit tight as can be seen in the pictures. Stick with your regular size and it should be OK......

Ordered in size XL, color black but they were a bit too snug for my 6'4", 230 lbs. The tag does indicate US 36 for waistline so perhaps one more size up would've fit best for him. The overall quality of the fabric is nice to the touch while breathable. Has a versatile style that he could wear casually or even dress up a notch with these shorts. The stitching feels durable. The drawstring waist line is well made. The pockets are a plus.

I've had good luck with these hiking shorts. My first impression was that they have almost the same stretch and comfort as basketball shorts, but with the look of regular casual or hiking shorts. The 8" inseam is a good length and the hybrid nylon/spandex material gives them a unique feel. They’re also supposed to be water-resistant.They feel very breathable and fit true to size. I wear a large (I am 200#) and the fit was spot on for me. The elastic waistband and drawstring also make it easy to dial in the perfect fit exactly how you like it.The pockets have good depth, but the hidden inside zip pocket is another great feature. It is perfect for keeping small items secure while hiking, traveling, or just wearing them casually. I use it for securing my money clip.Overall, these shorts are super comfortable and hard to beat. I do think they could be priced slightly lower in comparison to my other shorts in this price range, so the value takes a small hit, but they are still very capable and solid shorts. You would not be disappointed with them. I’m definitely not.

I know it says men but I got these for myself. I use them when I wear my two piece bathing suits. I like that they are water resistant. I wear a size 2x and they fit true to size. They are comfortable and lightweight. They are stretch waist with a drawstring to make them fit better. The material feels durable like they will last me a while. I recommend trying them out.

I ordered these men's shorts in the medium navy blue color. The medium fits perfectly and is the normal size that I wear when I order shorts and pants. The color is a true dark navy blue and not a bright or light blue. These shorts have been used dozens of times so far when I go to the gym to exercise on the treadmill, exercise bike, and other exercise equipment as well as when I'm walking and running. They actually have an appearance similar to swim shorts, especially with the side slits and the length. However, they do not have the mesh liner like swim shorts have. I find them to be very comfortable to wear while engaging in strenuous exercise. They are of high quality and have withstood many cycles in the washing machine. I can also just hang them up to dry as they are of a polyester type material that dries very quickly, feels breathable, and wicks away moisture. It has two useful pockets and are highly recommended.

The listing photos show waist sizes that don’t match the actual tag sizing. I ordered a Small because the listing photo suggested it would fit a 34–36" waist, but the tag on the shorts says 30, and that’s exactly how they fit. They’re too small for me, but the elastic waistband still stretches enough that I could get them on. If I had followed the size guide instead of the listing photo, I would have ordered a Large (34). So the right approach is: choose your size based on the size guide, not the waist numbers shown in the listing images.The stitching on these shorts is excellent. All the pocket seams are clean and even, but the standout is the elastic waistband construction.
