We absolutely love this bag! We’re a backpack collecting kind of family, so it takes a lot to impress us. Let’s just say, I have never had to learn how to fold up the bag for storage because it is always in use. Currently, we are on a road trip, and we use it to store our snacks. The picture with the snacks next to the bag only filled up about half the bag, so I ended up adding a grocery bag’s worth of additional food to the backpack.
Here are a few reasons we like the bag: 1. The reflective bits on the bag. What a nice touch! 2. The extra wide/deep water bottle pockets. We use 32 oz water bottles, and this bag handles them like a champ. I put the water bottles in the outer pockets AFTER I filled up the backpack, and it was no trouble putting them in. 3. The two handles on top that snap together. I like carrying my backpacks by the handle often, especially if we are just transporting them from the car to a hotel. Most backpacks have just one handle offset so when you grab the bag by the handle, it tilts at a funny angle. This bag makes it so it doesn’t tilt if you want to carry it that way. 4. It weighs hardly anything empty. No, seriously, less than half a pound. Kittens weigh more. 5. The water repellency it has. You can’t take it swimming, but my husband has used it in a boat, and it handles the splashes just fine. 6. It looks like new even though we have used it many times. Not one tear, not one snag, it doesn’t even seem to get dirty! 7. The top outer pocket. It’s so convenient to stash things like granola bars and keys for super easy retrieval. 8. It fits under a plane seat really well, even when full. 9. The price point. We own lots of backpacks, and at least 2 or 3 similar to this one. This one is the least expensive one we have, and yet, it has held up the best.
I would totally not hesitate to purchase more of these. I hope they add more colors soon.

This is an extremely lightweight (less than half a pound) backpack, and this can be viewed as a positive or a negative depending on how you look at it and what your needs are. As a positive, the bag itself is not going to add any significant weight if you're planning on using it while hiking or on extended trips, but the tradeoff (the negative) is that you can't trust putting too much weight inside because of the lightweight material.

I haven't risked putting more than a few items weighing more than 4-5 pounds inside (combined total), it may be able to handle more but I don't want to mess up the bag. If you like to pack light or frequently only carry a water bottle, extra shirt and/or shorts, wallet, phone, and keys around on your hike/run, this bag will probably be perfect for you. If you're looking for something sturdier or something that will hold more, I would look elsewhere.

That being said, the quality of the bag is great. I didn't notice any problems with bad stitching or other obvious issues with quality control that you commonly find with less expensive bags. It is a small bag compared to many other hiking packs, but (again) it is extremely lightweight in comparison to other bags I've seen.

Overall, this is a great "grab-and-go" bag for your essential items, as the bag will likely wear out more quickly if you're loading it down with more items required for longer hikes or adventures. I can also see this bag being great for gym use to carry an extra set of light clothes and a large water bottle like a Nalgene bottle.

This is a nice compact, lightweight, and stowable backpack that is water resistant. It is well-made and has lots of storage space. This is a perfect bag to throw in a suitcase to take on a trip to use as a daypack when you are out and about.

This foldable backpack is impressively lightweight, weighing less than half a pound, and packs down to a compact 6”x6”x1” size. It barely takes up more space than a shirt in a suitcase, making it a perfect travel companion. Packing it up is simple—just stuff the backpack into its enclosed pocket and zip it closed. The pocket even has a small handle for easy carrying or hanging when stored.

When unfolded, the backpack features adjustable shoulder straps with light padding for comfort. The straps are also made of breathable mesh material to allow airflow and can be clipped together in the front using a chest strap that includes an emergency whistle. The strap is adjustable in both length and position for a customizable fit, but it can also be unbuckled if not needed. Despite its lightweight build, the backpack is surprisingly spacious, measuring approximately 10” x 18” x 6” when fully packed.

Despite its compact appearance, the backpack holds more than expected, making it useful for travel, biking, hiking, or daily errands.

Overall, this backpack is well-designed, practical, and extremely useful. It’s lightweight, compact, and comfortable to wear, making it a great choice for anyone looking for a reliable packable bag.

I got this because we like to hike and my hubby always gets stuck carrying the backpack, so now I have my own. Nice and light, easy to pack in a suitcase. Would I put a ton of heavy stuff in it.. no, but for hiking it is perfect. It has enough room to put all you need for a day or maybe even a single night hike. And I love the color i chose!! It has straps to snap to take the weight off the shoulders.

I got this backpack to take on day outings while on vacation. It is small and easy to put in a coat pocket or small pack for backup and can be quickly deployed when needed. It can easily hold a puffer coat, souvenirs and an umbrella when needed. It is made of durable material, and the stitching is solid.

We've been looking for an ultra-portable backpack for hikes, taking our bikes to the grocery store, and other random needs. This definitely fits the bill as it packs down small with little-to-no weight, the fabric and stitching seems strong (including the zipper), and the grey color is also pretty nice and true-to-color in the photos. If you're looking for a bag like this that's ultra-portable, this is a solid way to go.

Pricing Opinion: At time of receipt, it was priced at 26 USD. My other one is 35 L for 30 USD, but it’s thicker when compressed.
