G4Free 10L/15L Lightweight Hiking Backpack

Awesome backpack for hiking and light rockclimbing. My ten year old loved carrying it with no complaints over 5 days of hiking

Worked for our smaller hike, but not really good for holding water but I figured out and half zipped in front pocket, and held my snacks just fine.

I got this bag to replace a day hike bag that was almost falling to pieces. I wanted something lightweight, waterproof or very resistant, with two side pockets for a bottle of water and binoculars and space inside for my camera, a light jacket, snacks, tissue, etc and a couple of small zip pockets for incidentals. This bag is perfect for this in every way. It seems to be very well made, the pockets are a perfect size and it is even more water resistant than my old bag. I could tell that even before I hit my first rainy hike by the sound the fabric makes when you scratch it. My camera & belongings stayed dry when it did actually rain. The only point I would pick at is the inside zipper pocket is not very good quality. The teeth split already but when I rezipped it, it was fine. I just anticipate this happening again in the future as I use this bag 5 days a week. Overall, though, I love it and it is perfect for my needs.

Can store plenty of items, but I don’t recommend a heavy water bottle, it could be uncomfortable. Small but durable.

I just received the item and have not used it and I cannot vouch for its long term durability or how well it stands up to rugged use etc.However the material seems really good. I have not tried the backpack in rain but the material really feels like it would repel water really well. The zippers are strong. The design is compact.It would be great f backpacks of different styles were made of this material, packs such as book bags and day packs .The pack folds into a pouch that is attached to the "inner neck" of the backpack. This is convenient since a lot of packable backpacks have pouches that separate from the rest of the backpack and it means that the pouch could get misplaced from the backpack. Of course a bit of a con is that the pouch is a bit narrow and it takes some maneuvering to put the entire pack in the pouch. It would be better if the attached pouch were made wider.But also I ordered the beige color and the color I received is slightly different (a bit more yellowish) than what it looks like on the site. I am not sure if I will return this one for a different color, but basically like this backpack.I will update on my findings .UPDATE June 7 2024I tried using the backpack for the first time this day. I do like the feel of the material. The zippers are strong and the construction is really good.Important con though: The shape of uppermost part of the pack is "C-shaped." The straps are not individually sewn to the top of the back of the pack with approximately an inch and a half of space between the straps as is more common in backpacks .. See photo to see comparason of designs.Of course the "C-shape" or "Rounded-shape" is supposed to be more "Ergonomic" because the part of the backpack that meets your neck and upper shoulders is more like the shape of a collarless vest and it is supposed to make the pack feel better on the back of your neck and shoulders. And, perhaps those who designed this backpack believe that this makes the backpack more comfortable to have on your shoulders.However What this design does is inherently make the straps go to the outer side of your shoulders as you wear the pack and the straps can more easily slide off to the sides of your shoulders. Of course it can depend if you have broad shoulders or sloping shoulders or it can depend on your own size, whether you are diminutive or large in physique, yet I would say in general this design will make the pack have a downward pull on your shoulders that can make your back and shoulders ache especially if the pack is filled with some heavy items but even the pack is empty or only has a few lightweight items in it this could still happen. If you are walking gravity makes the straps pull awkwardly on your shoulders you may eventually feel as much discomfort and pain or aches as if the pack had some heavy things in it.Also the pack does not have a waist strap. Of course smaller packs like this typically do not, but the material of the pack is a bit rigid ( which is good for more durability and some water resistance) but the pack will feel uncomfortable swinging side to side as you walk with it on your shoulders.So I would say that I do like this backpack very much. I think I will keep it. However there are some design flaws to it .Update 6-27-24I decided to return it and see if I can find a larger size. The smaller compartment is too small and the zipper does not open wide enough and I need to fit larger items in the smaller compartment and I cannot comfortably or easily fit my hand into the smaller compartment to get items out.

Its compact and at the same time is of a good quality. I use it as my daypack when I go backpacking. So far no damages. I dont overload it.

Love the bag. It isn't very spacious but it's cute and can handle basic necessities such as one or two notebooks, lip gloss, phone, etc...

Very light n small as described

Purchased for use while traveling abroad. It was lightweight easy to compact into a small space within larger carry-on for use when needed. Perfect as an auxiliary day pack.

Lightweight. Holds alot more than I thought when just considering the actual size. Grey color is a good neutral. I like it!

Perfect tiny backpack we used every day on safari to carry our binoculars, water and more.

I bought this for a trip where there would be a lot of touring and walking. It worked perfectly. It is very lightweight, but I could fit my jacket in it without any issue. This was the perfect size for just a few items that I needed to take along. I never had an issue with it feeling uncomfortable either.

I used this at Disney and it was perfect for what I needed to carry.Wallet, phone, and I had so much room for souvenirs and even a rain coat and various other things. I didn’t expect to be able to carry so much in it.

This Lightweight Daypack Backpack was perfect. It folds into a small pouch for traveling. It is the perfect size for a quick trip or for carrying souvenirs when traveling abroad. I will also hold your electronics while out and about. It was worth the purchase.
