I purchased this umbrella a year ago and it has been great for the Florida sun and rain! I love the large 68” size for extra sun and rain protection, however since it’s so large and I kept this umbrella in the car, I would have to store it behind the back seat headrests and it got discolored with the sun. I also noticed that the “closing” mechanism has to be wiggled a bit for it to lock, but other than that the umbrella is still holding up after a year’s worth of use.
I use this umbrella on my balcony of my 42nd floor apartment in NYC. I cannot have a regular size umbrella up here for safety purposes so I rigged this umbrella to a pole and it has done exactly what I wanted - created enough shade for me and my dog and cat (when she comes out). Vey sturdy and easy to use. I like to slow open. I know not the traditional way to use an umbrella like this but for me, it is perfect.

When my brother comes to visit us in Hawaii from Oregon, he naturally wants to go to the beach. I'm not a fan of being hot, so these sun umbrellas are my must. Been wanting this big size forever!
