The umbrella was delivered broke, woukdnt open all the way a s had a dunny smell
Perfect for my daily walks. I hook it on my backpack and go.
I had a similar sized solar umbrella and I wore it completely out. This is the replacement. And already I know this will last a lot longer. This is made with quality parts and feels sturdy. It doesn’t rattle or shake when I jiggle it fully opened. The automatic opening button was unexpected on a travel umbrella and much appreciated. It works very efficiently. Be careful! It packs a punch. And, of course, as a solar umbrella it lowers the temperature underneath by 20° (it feels to me). It doubles as a rain umbrella. I happily ditched the janky one for this. I have used it in extreme wind, and it held together with some strain (50 mph gusts) which was really asking too much of it. If I were to misplace this umbrella I’d buy another one of these, that’s how much I like it.
We live in Central Florida and endure a 9-month rainy season, but luckily, it's only at 3pm for a couple hours. So imagine going to a theme park and seeing the dark clouds meet from both coasts right over your head. Sure, you can buy a $10 poncho, or you can carry in your own umbrella. I look for smaller-sized umbrellas because I usually only bring in a small backpack or sling bag. I don't want an umbrella taking up valuable real estate in the bag for a brief rainshower. I'm also not embarrased to break out an umbrella on a super hot and sunny day-- my youthful days of frying myself in the sun are over. This umbrella is perfect for this scenario for a couple reasons-- it's small, reflects the sun, and has a second layer on the top to allow wind to come through without breaking the umbrella or bending it backwards.I didn't even know it had the latter part until I went to close it. Do you know how many umbrellas I've owned that have been broken by one gust of wind? The arms snap so easily, but that's the nature of an umbrella, I guess. It's also a one-button pop-up, as long as you've unhooked the velcro strap. That was kind of nice because some umbrellas still have to be pushed out, even after pushing the button and expanding the umbrella. This is a one-buttong operation. We'll see how this one holds up over time, but I'll probably buy a few more to store in the car because they always end up somewhere else or broken. Love the teal color on the underside and the reflective silver on the outside.
Light to carry. Large size
I Iove this umbrella!
The reason that I gave this umbrella a 4 star rating is because of the wrinkles. It is very wrinkled, and even after being up for a couple hours, the wrinkles were still there.
Everything else is great! This is primarily used as a sun shade. I really like that the inside color is light to keep it cooler. There is an air vent in the top as well, and that also helps with reducing heat under the umbrella. It is very easy to open and close, and it comes with a nice bag for storage. (The bag does not have a closure, so hold it upright.) This lightweight umbrella is great to take in a bag for a day out. It works for sun and rain!
What I like about this camera:
1) It is light weight umbrella with soothing light blue color. Great as a sun umbrella
2) It is compact, easy to travel or take a trip with it.
3) It can automatically open and close
4) Its top is not one piece but two pieces of fabric, allows breeze to come though. This is where also the catch comes. If it rains, the rain could come in as well, especially when wind blows at the same time.

It has a slight smell coming out of the packaging, but that should go away. Otherwise I love the color and it is very well made. The vents should help in the wind. Pressing the open and close button is easy and works well. It is super lightweight too.
This umbrella folds down to a small size which is perfect for travel and day trips. It opens with the push of a button pretty easily. It’s the folding down that’s a little tough. You press the button and it releases and folds in somewhat, then it needs to be pushed in by hand, which I don’t mind, but it’s a little sticky and I have to use real muscle to push it all the way in. I can live with that if it was a low cost umbrella. But for the price, I’d expect it to be easy to put away. The silver color is metallic. Overall, not bad not great. And too high priced for the function.
I was excited about this umbrella because I have very fair skin and am constantly trying to avoid sunburn but shade is sometimes hard to come by. This umbrella is designed specifically for that. It's compact and lightweight, which will be great for carrying around when traveling. It's a good size and yet still very light. The outside is silver and very shiny and the inside is a pretty robin's egg blue. The material is thicker than a typical umbrella of this type - feels more like a raincoat. I have no doubt it will work just as well in the rain as the sun. The only downside that I can potentially see is it could be problematic for people behind you if it reflects the sun in their eyes.
The G4Free Travel Umbrella is a perfect blend of style and practicality. Its silver exterior reflects sunlight, while the black interior adds a sleek, sophisticated look. The UPF 50+ UV protection works great for keeping the heat at bay, making it ideal for sunny outings.
The compact design and automatic anti-bounce close feature make it super portable and easy to use on the go. While it’s lightweight, the double canopy construction adds durability against light wind. Overall, a great umbrella for sun protection with a unique dual-tone design!
This umbrella is a fantastic choice for anyone in need of a lightweight and compact umbrella. It's thick enough to keep the sun off of you and well-designed enough for the rain to roll off of it. It opens and closes smoothly, and the two-tone coloring is a nice, stylish touch. Overall, I'm happy with this product.
This is exactly what it is described to be. It is a lightweight, and I really do mean lightweight, quality umbrella for travel. It is well-made and is big enough for one person, but does not add a lot of weight to my travel bag. I couldn’t be happier with this!

Perfect for my daily walks. I hook it on my backpack and go.
This compact umbrella is presented as an umbrella that is new and different. It claims UV protection and promotes usefulness as protection from sun. The umbrella is different from others I have seen and used in the past. There is a button to press for quick automatic opening, as many other umbrellas also have, and it works well and easily. One difference here is that this same button is used to close the umbrella with the same ease. I like this feature. This umbrella also needs to be pushed down and back into place when going from the open position to closed. The fabric is a bit of a mystery. Close inspection of the information provided indicates that the fabric is polyester, but this information was not easy to find. It is a thin and very lightweight fabric that is also very shiny, very flexible, and very lightweight. The fabric feels different from all other umbrellas I have encountered previously.
Although opening and closing is a smooth and easy operation, re-compacting the umbrella was not as easy as the seller (or manufacturer) would like us to believe. Although I could easily get the umbrella to return to its compact folded position, the fabric was not easy for me to gather neatly and compactly and I was not able to get the umbrella into its carry case. I am sure given more time and effort that might happen but frankly I am not interested in spending that kind of time in working this umbrella back into its carry case.
This umbrella is constructed differently from all others I have known and it will require considerably more use to test out its durability and usefulness, especially for rain.
First off, this umbrella is super lightweight, which makes it easy to carry around - and keep in my car trunk. It takes up no space at all.
The 50+ UV protection is a great for hot days. Plus, it closes automatically with a smooth, no-fuss mechanism—no struggling in the rain.
This is a decent umbrella that folds down to a compact, portable size. It's about the length of a banana. The first thing I noticed is the smell. This has a really strong, off-putting smell even fresh from it's packaging. I had to air it out instead of packing it into my suitcase for a trip I was getting ready for. The one-button push expands the umbrella, which has dual-canopy vents to help reduce the chance of your umbrella getting turned inside out due to high winds. The fabric seems promising - hopefully it withstands rain when I need it most. What really stands out other than the initial odor, is the compactness of this umbrella. Hoping it'll prove its worth when the time comes to use it.
This is a smaller umbrella, which is good if you're looking for something on the more compact side, but understand that you might be sacrificing a bit of your dryness as a result. The material its made out of is... interesting. I have not had an umbrella made out of this sort of fabric before, so we'll see how it reacts when wet. It opens and closes easily enough, but the main pole of the umbrella that extends feels like it might not be the sturdiest.
I hadn't really thought about using a portable umbrella for shade. I guess it would create an additional set of problems as the material would need to be less transparent than most nylon umbrellas. This material is thicker so it blocks light, but it doesn't weigh much as all. It also works for rain. This makes the product much more versatile. My wife doesn't do very well in bright light so this will stay in her car for when she needs it. Good value for the price. Recommended for blocking rays and raindrops.
A nice umbrella in a small package. One button release and retract. Push the handle home to recock it. It re-wraps to fit back in the storage bag very easily. The double layer with the vents is a nice and protective feature. It's large enough for one person to stay dry. My wife typically doesn't use an umbrella for a parasol but one as quick and easy as this one makes it a viable option. The sky blue color is very pretty.
At this point I see no reason it won't be practical and durable. It's very well constructed.
I’ve been using the Travel Umbrella for a while now, and it’s been a great companion for sunny days. The ultralight design makes it easy to carry around, and the compact size fits perfectly in my bag. The UV protection is impressive, and the double canopy does a good job of blocking harmful rays while staying stable in light breezes. I love the automatic open and close feature, though the mechanism feels a bit delicate at times. While it’s not the most durable for heavy winds, it’s perfect for sun protection and light rain. Overall, it’s a stylish and functional umbrella that’s ideal for travel or daily use.
This automatic compact umbrella has strong ribs and a double canopy large enough for one. I love umbrellas with a double canopy because they don't turn inside out as frequently. This umbrella is small enough to fit in my purse, tote bag, and backpack without adding weight or taking up a lot of space. This is a well made quality umbrella.
Lightweight, easy to use and easy to carry!
