This is even smaller than I expected- see photos with a pencil for perspective. The small size and light weight makes it easy to carry this umbrella around. When needed, the umbrella opens to comfortably protect one adult.

The umbrella doesn’t have a quick open spring action button. Rather, you need to push it open. The instructions warn not to press the button when opening the umbrella. The button is pressed only when closing it.

While the manual open works fine, I prefer the quicker and smoother spring action mechanism. This is why I’m giving this umbrella a 4/5 rating.

If compact size and light weight are important to you, this umbrella is a good option.

It's like not carrying, super lightweighted. Perfect for purse size. Of course it is not as sturdy as bigger ones but if you want just UV protection for daily use, this is the one I think. I liked the color too. It is not cheap pink color.

This literally is almost as tall as my iPhone 13 Pro Max! So cute and compact, with a case for stowing away. Nice for rain or sun protection. Easy to open and close.

This black umbrella comes with a little black pouch. It seemed a bit delicate the first few times I opened it, needing "untangling" and careful maneuvering to open the ribs. It closed easily, though.
This little black umbrella is a nice size when fully open. Two close friends could share this umbrella. The knob at the end is large, about 2" across. Less hand pain than the traditional hook, imo. Fully closed in its little pouch, it will fit in a backpack side pouch. It states the fabric is also uv protection, which is a nice bonus. It is lightweight, and packs quite compactly. This umbrella can get year round use.

It is very cute and small, I got it to be able to carry in my purse and it is a perfect size umbrella enough for two adults for sure.
The reason why I lost one star is because the cloth fabric is really a little bit thin, thinner than normal used umbrella . Shading is definitely fine, but I am not sure if it suitable for raining or windy days.

This is legitimately the best travel umbrella that I have ever had. It is compact in size and fits into my bag without being bulky or taking up too much space. I also like the fact that it has SPF built into the umbrella - like whaaaaaat! I love that! Seriously, I love this umbrella.

I ordered this travel umbrella whilst on my way home from a very sunny vacation in Asia in December. It was hot and sunny in Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore, and The Maldives. Never gave a thought to a sun umbrella. When I was offered this item, I jumped at ordering it. This umbrella would've been great on my vacation. It has a very small form factor when closed but is very big when opened. I like the fact that it is reflective and has UPF 50+ UV Protection. If you are worried about weight, this umbrella feels a little heavy for its size, 10 ounces. It will, however, fit very handily in any suitcase or knapsack water-bottle holder. Planning on taking it on my next adventure to Mexico where I'll need some sun shade.

Wow, this is the most convenient umbrella ever. Folds up super compact but when you open it up, provides great protection. I have even used it in light rain and it held up just fine. Probably wouldn't hold up in super strong winds, but for the size, this works great!

This G4Free Compact Travel Umbrella UPF 50+ UV Protection Sun Blocking Mini Umbrellas for Men and Women is nice, but not as nice as a similar G4Free umbrella that I also have, one that has reflective properties and cost the same. This one also was a bit difficult to click open, but that worked better after I opened and closed it a few times. It is a beautiful color, I'll say that.

Lightweight compact functional against sun and rain BUT no longer usable after just three uses. Won’t stay open super flimsy. Disappointing. Looking for a replacement

This umbrella is so perfect. Reflects nice small travel size yet large enough to cover fully. Easy to hold and water resistant. Though it is hard to open and lock it in place you really have to push it open. Once open it is perfect. Love the color and the metallic. Great to throw into your bag. Good for the sun as well. Seems strong as I haven’t tested it out with the wind yet. So far so good. Have used it quite often so far. My daughter loves it and it’s the perfect size for her or her school bag.

How about 4.4?

I got this for my wife and an upcoming trip we have to nine sacred mountain temples in China. It will be raining at some of them and she needs a compact umbrella. She gives this four stars but, since I am writing this review and she's not, I give it five.

She says "four stars" because it is "clunky" and "there is no button on the handle to make it automatically open." I say for something so small I can't fault it for not having "the button." She *loves* the color.

I don't know that I would call it clunky, but I do understand what she's saying. But, for such a small and compact umbrella it does provide a lot of coverage, and for that I think it has its "clunkiness." Honestly I think it's great and definitely small. Time will tell how well it holds up and I will adjust my review accordingly.

Got this for a vacation and fit great in the suitcase for travel. Has a nice tight elastic wrist strap for hands free once you get in the shade. Might be a little small if trying to fit more than 2 normal people under it. Did not try in rain.

There's quite a bit to like about this manual folding umbrella, but unfortunately it's not for me.

Pros:
The size is right. The muted wine-red color is attractive, ditto the fabric. The framework looks sturdy; for such a small umbrella this has suprising heft. The ball-shaped handle looks good and feels good to the touch. The umbrella is easy to fold up, roll up, and fit back into its sleeve.

Cons:
The hanging strap on the handle is elastic, which will stretch out quickly given the umbrella's weight. Even though I have small hands, the handle itself is too small for me to hold the umbrella steady in even a light breeze without bracing it with a finger along the umbrella's shaft, which means I'd be fighting to keep control of it in any real wind.

But the deal-breaker for me is that I was only able to open the umbrella fully into its locked position for use once out of 7 attempts (trying my hardest a few times on each of those tries, with sound effects). You need to have more shoulder/arm/hand strength than I do in order to hear the satisfying click that will keep the umbrella open and you dry beneath it--an excellent archery training workout, but not what I want to deal with on a rainy day.

This Compact Travel Umbrella came in a beautiful lilac color. It is small and will eaily fit in the water bottle pocket of a backpack. It's also pretty light. The tradeoff for these qualities is that it does not feel very sturdy. The ribs are quite thin and I think high winds are likely to invert it (though the listing states there are two extra ribs in an effort to prevent this. I will update this review if I actually do have issues with inversion. As we are currently experiencing the rain portion of a hurricane, I can confidently say it works well for water coming straight down. The coverage is on the smaller side (again, due to it's smaller shape) so it likely wont be too helpful in gusty rain.

It is difficult to get the umbrella to click in the locked open position, but I could do it without extreme manipulation like another reviewer had to do. The handle is a round knob, which immediately loosened and was free spinning on mine. I will need to epoxy that down.

This is an ideal and compact umbrella for travel. About the size of my hand this folds up into a compact travelling size that is ready for me when I need it. Easily protects me from the elements, I am glad to have had this.

I'm keeping this in my cars door storage slot and it fits perfectly. I recommend it. Lovely lavender color.

Muy bueno sobre todo cuando llueve

I got this for golfing in Arizona. Works great keeps me feeling cooler in the hot sun. Very sturdy for its size. Fits nicely in my golf bag.
