I am 190lbs, 5'2, and wear a L/XL or a 12/14 in most brands. I got these in an XL, but I think I could have gotten a Large as well and been perfectly fine. I love the fit of the XL; they are very forgiving. The shorts have an underwear-type liner on the inside; they are very lightweight and would absolutely wick sweat away. These shorts are 88% polyester and the rest Elastane, but very breathable. I got the color black, and they are black, a crisp, dark black. I am going to get these in navy and the pretty lavender color as well. Great quality and I am VERY happy.

They are flattering to all body types with the way it flares at the bottom. The extra flap of fabric on the sides make them look like a skort/skirt. The inside has bloomers within the lining. The waistband is stretchy but if you have big hips they may leave a skin indent after a while, so size up if you experience this with scrunched bands. The material is very lightweight and breathable, ideal for workouts. They have good versatility also looking nice as casual summer shorts! The fabric is soft and thin making them effortlessly comfortable. I think they're a good value and would definitely recommend to fitness wear lovers! 5/5

These are the cutest, most flattering running shorts I own from my favorite brand. These the colors and materials from this brand are phenomenal. And. Really great price for the quality. These running shorts are super cute. They almost look like a skirt. They are made from a great sewing pattern, which I’ll try to capture on photo. They’re lined with a built-in panty and then the outer drippy short also has some tulip layering to give it a really beautiful and flattering drape. I’ve never had a pair of running shorts that I wore around town before because usually they’re good for running and running only but these shorts the style and cut are so cute. I wear them to go shopping and running errands as well as exercise. I absolutely love this brand and I think they’re priced really well for their quality.

These shorts are true to size and ended up fitting exactly how I hoped. I ordered a medium because I have a curvier/athletic lower half — I typically wear a size 4-6 in jeans with a 38” hip — and the fit is perfect.They have a loose, flowy fit that’s really flattering and gives that popular athletic short style that’s everywhere right now. Even though they’re on the shorter side, the looser fit actually makes them feel like they provide more coverage than tighter shorts would.One of my favorite details is the built-in underwear. It’s a full coverage brief instead of a boy short, which is SO much better for thicker thighs. Boy shorts usually roll up or get eaten immediately on me, but these stay comfortable and in place.The waistband is also really well done — thick with a soft elastic that doesn’t dig in or create an unflattering muffin top. Comfortable enough for workouts, errands, or just casual summer wear.The lighting in my photos is weird giving a brownish look, but they’re a true deep black, and overall these feel like a much more thoughtfully designed pair of athletic shorts than most at this price point.

I got these shorts for my wife and she really enjoys wearing them. The fit is excellent with a flattering cut that follows her shape nicely without feeling tight or restrictive. The fabric is wonderfully lightweight, soft, and flowy while staying breathable and quick drying, making them comfortable for everything from workouts to casual errands.The wide elastic waistband sits comfortably all day and the built in liner prevents any chafing. The double layer hem moves beautifully with her.Her only real complaint is the lack of functional pockets. There is one tiny hidden back pocket but it is not enough for her phone or keys which drives her a little crazy. Otherwise these are a win.Super comfortable and flattering shorts that would be perfect with better pockets.

These shorts are comfortable. They are well made, with nice stitching. The fabric is light in weight and not stretchy. The waistband is elastic and wide. They are about 12” in length. Runs big; I normally ordered a medium size, but this one fits a little loose, wish I had ordered a small instead. It is specially loose around the bottom seam, but that is by design. It has a liner like swimming suits do. It has a super tiny hidden pocket in the bag, about 3” deep so maybe for an ID but might not be very secured. I wish it had pockets in the front too, but it doesn’t. Overall, I’m satisfied with this shorts. Good for working out or just lounging.

I really wanted to love these shorts, because I love most of G4Free's product line, and the idea of lightweight shorts is perfect for summer. That said, though I like the way they flow, I don't find the fit to be particularly flattering (it makes my butt look even flatter). The waist is very forgiving, and maybe even a little loose. The liner is just a thin brief with fairly tight elastic right at the crease between your body and your leg... I would much prefer these to be slightly longer liner shorts, maybe even with pockets. The one, tiny pocket at the back waist might fit a key or a credit card, but Because it's so shallow, I fear that I might lose it when moving about.I really wanted to love these, and the they're not terrible, they're not right for me.

Are you kidding me? These are seriously one of the most freeing shorts I’ve ever worn — Comfort galore! Built in panties with shorts that taper out as they meet your thigh. If I didn’t know better, I’d almost think these were a skort or skirt.The fabric, quick drying and lightweight. It moves with you… it moves with the wind.They are seriously that good.Wide waistband that’s not restrictive in anyway, slips right on while feels as if you’re wearing nothing at all.I live in a super hot climate, sticky hot no matter the time of day. Typical weekend running errands until exhaustion hits. I wore these all day yesterday, multiple stores, in and out of a hot car — You get the picture, and not once did I wish I’d chosen something else to wear!These are perfection, whether a morning jog or running around like a crazy woman, you will have zero regrets with these.I chose my usual size Small with a 26” waist at 116lbs. I’m 5’ with these hitting my upper thigh area. Color is dark navy, it’s apparent when held up next to black even if my photos look black.G4Free has consistently came through for me. Excellent workmanship with high quality fabrics.

These dark navy running shorts (or other type sports) are made of polyester and elastane that are a lightweight and quick dry fabric which is thin and comfortable with lots of room for leg movement. There are attached panties with elasticized openings for coverage; personally, I prefer inner short boy shorts instead of panties. There is a small pocket in back for a key card. The wide elastic waistband is stretchy and comfortable. I'm a size ten, so I ordered a large which fit perfectly as size char dictates; however, if a looser fit is desired, then size up. These are very flowy and soft. Easy care of cold water machine wash and dry on low. Overall they are made well with good price point.

They’re almost too flowy. The waistband is great, and they’re very breathable. Not great for running if you’re a girl with thicker thighs.

I love a good G4Free item. The quality is very nice and these are very light weight. Definitely size down. I normally wear an XL and a L is a good fit. These are not see through but airy for quick dry and keeping cool on hot days. I like that they have a pocket in back I can slip my keys or something into if needed. They also have a brief liner in them which is also appreciated. As a middle aged female, the sweating is for real and the mesh liner inside helps keep things cool and fresh. These are more of a flowy type of short but not so much so that it's showing the bottom of your booty or anything like that. It's a great work out - every day wear item for sure. For that price G4Free has great quality and it's a good deal.

I have been wanting to order a pair of lululemon running shorts, but didn't want to invest the money. I saw these and decided to take a shot...and I am so glad that I did! I literally love these shorts. The quality is outstanding and the fit is also outstanding. I LOVE the pockets! I LOVE the pockets!! I LOVE the pockets!!! The pockets are probably my favorite thing about these shorts. And, they are really cute! I am out here looking cute! Great summer item. I already have another pair in my cart!

This skirt is the perfect blend of sporty and casual. I wore it to work with a casual blazer and tshirt and my adidas gazelle shoes. The skirt is cute and not too ruffly or full. Before wearing I use a quick steam to get the wrinkles out and they stayed gone throughout the day. THe liner is great. It keeps them comfortable and also so they lay properly, especially in any amount of wind. I would recomment them and will likely order in more colors because they are so versatile and easy to wear.

The double layer is so cute while the fabric is silent! The lilac color is beautiful and they are crazy comfy. My only recommendation is that you might want to consider sizing down for those who are slimmer in the hips. I purchased my normal size and found them to be a bit roomier than expected. This won't make a difference to me since I prefer to run in cropped leggings and will be using these for other exercises but one could feel a bit too free in that liner😂. Definitely one of my top three G4free purchases. Added bonus for the matching tank I scored to make a cute set.

The shorts themselves feel and look like a nice quality. I ordered based of measurements and I could have sized down. The description gave no info if the waist band was stretchy. And the hip measurements have to be for the under layer but again there was no specification. That makes me feel like I’m ordering in the dark. For that reason I gave 4 stars as they are too big for me.

One thing I can say about the G4Free brand, everything I have ordered from them is always well-made. Usually flattering for most figures and very comfortable. I ordered light grey running shorts; the color is perfect, just as the descriptive pictures. These are simply A-M-A-Z-I-N-G; with them being lightweight and fitting, it almost feels as if you’re wearing nothing. There's a built-in underpant, and just as I was about to say, the only thing that would make these the perfect running shorts is if there was a small pocket, and wouldn’t you know, I found it. These shorts are better than those top name brands that most people buy only so they’re seen wearing the brand. I have the top two brands in“sport apparel,” and these take the cake. They cost about the same but these are better quality materials and if you’re a serious runner, you will definitely agree with me when you try these shorts. One of my favorite things about these shorts, there’s no drawstring.
