I also didn't find the fabric noise to be nearly as noticeable as the listing suggests. There's a little rustling when you move, but nothing that bothered me. For me, these worked better as casual shorts than workout shorts. They're comfortable for walking, errands, and everyday wear, but I wouldn't reach for them for a serious workout. I don't like the waistband and pocket design. The gathering at the waistband combined with the pleated pockets draw attention to my lower stomach in a way I didn't find especially flattering. The fabric and comfort are there, but the fit through the midsection didn't work particularly well for my body shape.

These shorts are comfy and easy to wear! (although I can't battle you if I can't see you...) Seriously though, these are very airy and non-restrictive. They go on and off without any sort of fight. There are pockets, but I would honestly not use these for anything valuable. Just for long walks and hikes, I would say they are the perfect shorts to wear, but they are that "rustly" fabric so the texture is a bit hard. The size was accurate for me, but are stretchy to accommodate for your personal size. Pretty good price point so I can replace them whenever I need to!
