Great product
We absolutely love this bag! We’re a backpack collecting kind of family, so it takes a lot to impress us. Let’s just say, I have never had to learn how to fold up the bag for storage because it is always in use. Currently, we are on a road trip, and we use it to store our snacks. The picture with the snacks next to the bag only filled up about half the bag, so I ended up adding a grocery bag’s worth of additional food to the backpack.
Here are a few reasons we like the bag: 1. The reflective bits on the bag. What a nice touch! 2. The extra wide/deep water bottle pockets. We use 32 oz water bottles, and this bag handles them like a champ. I put the water bottles in the outer pockets AFTER I filled up the backpack, and it was no trouble putting them in. 3. The two handles on top that snap together. I like carrying my backpacks by the handle often, especially if we are just transporting them from the car to a hotel. Most backpacks have just one handle offset so when you grab the bag by the handle, it tilts at a funny angle. This bag makes it so it doesn’t tilt if you want to carry it that way. 4. It weighs hardly anything empty. No, seriously, less than half a pound. Kittens weigh more. 5. The water repellency it has. You can’t take it swimming, but my husband has used it in a boat, and it handles the splashes just fine. 6. It looks like new even though we have used it many times. Not one tear, not one snag, it doesn’t even seem to get dirty! 7. The top outer pocket. It’s so convenient to stash things like granola bars and keys for super easy retrieval. 8. It fits under a plane seat really well, even when full. 9. The price point. We own lots of backpacks, and at least 2 or 3 similar to this one. This one is the least expensive one we have, and yet, it has held up the best.
I would totally not hesitate to purchase more of these. I hope they add more colors soon.
Very light weight and has all the features as described. Love the color and can't wait to use it.
This is an extremely lightweight (less than half a pound) backpack, and this can be viewed as a positive or a negative depending on how you look at it and what your needs are. As a positive, the bag itself is not going to add any significant weight if you're planning on using it while hiking or on extended trips, but the tradeoff (the negative) is that you can't trust putting too much weight inside because of the lightweight material.
I haven't risked putting more than a few items weighing more than 4-5 pounds inside (combined total), it may be able to handle more but I don't want to mess up the bag. If you like to pack light or frequently only carry a water bottle, extra shirt and/or shorts, wallet, phone, and keys around on your hike/run, this bag will probably be perfect for you. If you're looking for something sturdier or something that will hold more, I would look elsewhere.
That being said, the quality of the bag is great. I didn't notice any problems with bad stitching or other obvious issues with quality control that you commonly find with less expensive bags. It is a small bag compared to many other hiking packs, but (again) it is extremely lightweight in comparison to other bags I've seen.
Overall, this is a great "grab-and-go" bag for your essential items, as the bag will likely wear out more quickly if you're loading it down with more items required for longer hikes or adventures. I can also see this bag being great for gym use to carry an extra set of light clothes and a large water bottle like a Nalgene bottle.
This is a nice compact, lightweight, and stowable backpack that is water resistant. It is well-made and has lots of storage space. Check out the video to see more details about how it works and see the photo for how well it stows. This is a perfect bag to throw in a suitcase to take on a trip to use as a daypack when you are out and about.
Nice to have a backpack at the ready whenever needed. Keep one in the truck and another in my main backpack.
This foldable backpack is impressively lightweight, weighing less than half a pound, and packs down to a compact 6”x6”x1” size. It barely takes up more space than a shirt in a suitcase, making it a perfect travel companion. Packing it up is simple—just stuff the backpack into its enclosed pocket and zip it closed. The pocket even has a small handle for easy carrying or hanging when stored.
When unfolded, the backpack features adjustable shoulder straps with light padding for comfort. The straps are also made of breathable mesh material to allow airflow and can be clipped together in the front using a chest strap that includes an emergency whistle. The strap is adjustable in both length and position for a customizable fit, but it can also be unbuckled if not needed. Despite its lightweight build, the backpack is surprisingly spacious, measuring approximately 10” x 18” x 6” when fully packed.
The backpack offers multiple compartments for organization. There’s a small zippered pocket at the top, which also serves as the pouch for storage when folded. The main compartment is roomy and even includes a divider for separating clean and dirty clothes. Two side mesh pockets provide space for water bottles or similar items. Inside, a small hanging strap with a plastic clip makes it easy to secure keys.
Made from parachute-style material, the backpack is thin but appears durable and tear-resistant. While it is water-resistant, it is not fully waterproof, meaning it can handle light rain but may not keep contents dry in heavier conditions. Despite its compact appearance, the backpack holds more than expected, making it useful for travel, biking, hiking, or daily errands.
Overall, this backpack is well-designed, practical, and extremely useful. It’s lightweight, compact, and comfortable to wear, making it a great choice for anyone looking for a reliable packable bag.
I got this because we like to hike and my hubby always gets stuck carrying the backpack, so now I have my own. Nice and light, easy to pack in a suitcase. Would I put a ton of heavy stuff in it.. no, but for hiking it is perfect. It has enough room to put all you need for a day or maybe even a single night hike. And I love the color i chose!! It has straps to snap to take the weight off the shoulders.
Customers praised this ultra-lightweight packable backpack for travel and day trips. "Shockingly lightweight" at under 0.5 lbs, it folds into a 6x6x1" pouch. Shoppers noted the thin but durable material, good stitching, and water resistance. Some cautioned against heavy loads due to minimal padding, saying straps can be uncomfortable with weight.
- So many reasons to love this backpack! Reflective bits, extra wide water bottle pockets, weighs nothing!
- Fantastic little pack! Incredibly durable and tough, especially for an ultra-lightweight backpack.
- Light material, but strong. Passes the 30 pound test with no popped stitches or ripping.

7.4 oz. in weight. Folds very small. Light material, but strong. See pictures for folded size (eye glasses provided for scale). Also see photos for unfolded size.
I did a brief "torture test" and placed two 15 pound kettlebells inside the main compartment and lifted the bag by the shoulder straps. The bag held. No popped stitches or ripping of material. The last bag like this I tested failed immediately.
Recommended.

I love this backpack! It is so light you barely can feel you are carrying anything when it's empty. Which reduces the total weight you will be carrying when full, it does make a difference.
The material is thin but durable, tear resistant and water resistant (be aware not proof but resistant, meaning to a certain level). The backpack looks smaller than it actually is, I was surprised ho much I could fit in there! It has a main and a side compartment, 2 bottle pockets, and a smaller compartment on the top fitting things like passport, wallet, cell phone and such. This small pocket serves also as a pouch when the back pack is not in use, folding instructions are on the order page, I think that's pretty cool. It's easy to put it in your luggage on a trip.
It also has a chest strap to carry it securely.
And lastly, I do like the color options, I ordered the gray-green one which is like a beautiful sage green. (On my pictures it looks gray, but that's just my camera.
This pack has 2 bottle pockets, a main pocket with key clip and inner pocket, a top pocket, and a chest strap.
It is very lightweight. So it’s great to just keep in your car as an emergency grab bag for wherever your adventures may take you. Or even a grocery run!
The only thing I don’t love is the 2 top straps snap together blocking your ability to unzip it. I don’t understand this but it’s not a big deal.
When we go on car trips or cruises, it is great to have a day pack to use as we explore the local area.
This pack is very lightweight (less than half a pound) and packs up super small (6"x6"x1") so it fits in your suitcase without taking much more space than a shirt. Packing it up is a matter of stuffing the pack into an enclosed pocket and zipping it closed. It even has a small handle to hold or hang it when in it's stuffed into it's pocket.
When unfolded it has adjustable shoulder straps which have a bit of padding. The straps can clip together in the front, and the clip has an emergency whistle built in. The pack itself has one small pocket at the top (which doubles as the 6x6 pouch) and a larger main pack area which is about 10" x 18" x 6" when fully packed). It also has two webbed side pockets for water bottles or similar items.
The material is thin - parachute style - which is a tradeoff you have to make if you want it to be lightweight and pack small. That being said, it appeared to be durable enough to pack heavy items without easily tearing.
I've never owned a backpack like this that compresses into a small form factor, so I was very intrigued. My use case for this is that I want to keep it in my car so if I need a backpack when I'm out and about, I always have one handy. It does indeed get quite small, however folding it neatly and packing it into it's zipper pocket is difficult. It's easier and quicker to just roughly fold it and cram it in there (see my pictures). Doing it like this is not as pretty as in their product pictures, but it's much more convenient. The one downside to this backpack is that the material is quite thin, because it needs to be in order to compress. Because of this, I'll be cautious about putting anything too heavy in it. But there's a lot of value in this for the price!

Great product
The top pocket on this design allows you to pack it into itself. Great for bringing along on any outing where there may be a few things picked up along the way. It is a shopping bag you can wear. Don't think of this as a hiker backpack, it's not, but for travel and around town, it has proven itself. I love it!
The backpack itself is lightweight and seems to be of reasonable quality for the price. Zippers are sturdy and stitching is clean. Fair amount of space and a variety of pockets for organizing. I'll call the straps moderately comfortable. This is meant as a lightweight day pack - likely something you have with you on travel for a day tour as opposed to a hard core hiker backpack so I think it fills that bill. The pack comes in plastic bag about 2x the intended folded size and is not folded. That's maybe the biggest negative I can say about this which is they should send to you in the folded state so you can get a feel for how to do it. As it is I have only been able to "wad it" into the space so it is no where near the neat little square in the description.
We do a lot of camping and backpacking and it's always great to have a spare bag on hand. We usually carry 70 liter hiking backpacks loaded with our gear, but we often need a smaller backpack for short hikes during the trip. This small packable backpack would be perfect for stashing inside my larger pack until it's needed. The pack is light and packs into its own pocket for easy carrying. The sage green color looks great.
I am very happy with this my ordering this Backpack. It seems like it's very well made with the design, functionality and material and craftsmanship of it. It has some inside compartments and the zippers seem to work very well. It's a great smaller size rather than carrying a larger far heavier backpack, so I love the size and the entire design of this Backpack and of course it can be used for a multiplicity of reasons and uses! I do recommend it!
When traveling, I like to bring a lightweight daypack that I can use for water, maps, some papers, room for shopping, etc. The one I currently use is a little too small, and the straps are not very comfortable. This is a great backpack for that purpose. It folds into a compact space, having its own bag in essence. It is roomy, and still has two external pockets for water bottles. It has a zipped inner pocket that you fold it into when not using. zThe straps are wide and provide support. There is a chest strap with a whistle buckle for safety. It is water resistant to protect the contents during a rain shower.
This is also a great gift for your favorite traveler.
This back has a 25 liter capacity which is average for a day pack. Weight is about half a pound, which is well below average. They kept the weight down by using thinner less-durable fabric, fewer pockets, and no padding in the shoulder straps or back panel. Lack of padding makes the backpack less comfortable for carrying heavier loads or uneven shaped items, so it is best for simple loads like a jacket, lunch, and water bottle. The backpack does fold down very compactly, folding into one of the pockets, which makes it great for stowing in a larger backpack or suitcase during a multi-day trip then pulling it out for shorter day trips while you leave your larger bag in a hotel or campsite. I'm giving this pack 4 stars because for about the same price, Amazon sells some slightly heavier but I think much more durable, functional, and comfortable backpacks that still fold up compactly. Once you load up your backpack, a few more ounces is not really noticeable.
My wife and I bike a lot, and there are times when we are riding and wish we had a way to carry some things home (groceries, etc). This foldable backpack easily tucks away in its own internal pouch and then stows in my bike bag for "just in case" situations. If needed, it easily opens and serves as a great way to carry more stuff. The straps are pretty wide and comfortable, and are also made of mesh material so air can flow through. There is also a chest strap to keep it securely in place, and the strap adjusts both in lenghth as well as up and down for maximizing comfort. The chest strap could be unbuckled and not used as well if preferred that way. The buckle of the chest strap also includes a shrill little whistle. I am tall and large (6.3" and 150 lbs) and was able to comfortably wear and adjust the backpack. The main body of the backback includes two holders for water bottles. Inside there is a divider in case you wanted to separate clean clothes from dirty ones, for example. The pouch that it folds into also becomes a zipable pouch when the backpack is being used as a backpack. Finally there is small hanging strap with a plastic clip on it, whick would be an ideal place to clip your keys inside the bag. Overall it is well thought out, very compact, and extremely useful.
The best thing about this backpack is how small it folds up and how lightweight it is (7.8 oz / ~221g). It’s not a rugged backpack, and it’s not meant to be. The straps are minimalistic but work fine for shorter distances—perfect for the "urban explorer" as described.
It’s also great for air travel when you need an extra backpack for bringing back gifts and souvenirs. A practical and handy travel companion!
I was looking for a very lightweight pack that would fold into a small size to take on vacations for day trips, and this is perfect. Very lightweight and folds into a tiny footprint, easy to pack, and fairly roomy. A great daypack.
nice and light weight. I pulled on the straps it didn't budge so id say its durable as well. bag is resistant great for camping during wet seasons
My wife and I were looking for a lightweight, packable backpack for travel ever since I left the last one on the platform of the train station in Vienna ;-) We love to bring one that we can fold up and stuff in our suitcase for schlepping stuff around our destination, where ever that may be.
This is just about perfect for that. Well constructed out of lightweight nylon, not too big and not too small, with a number of thoughtful features.
1. an integrated pocket at the top that when the backpack is not in use, that can be inverted and the whole thing packed into it.
2. Carrying straps on top, one on either side of the main zipper, than can. be snapped together to add an extra sense of security.
3. A chest strap that makes it comfortable to wear the pack without it constantly threatening to fall off you shoulders.
4. Deep enough side pockets to hold a water bottle without it falling out! That last one is a pet peeve of mine, as many backpacks like this have shallow side pockets which mean your water bottle is constantly falling out whenever you take it on or off.
I said almost perfect - if it had another outside zipped pocket on the front for holding glasses, etc, it would be perfect. As it is, I'm psyched to give this a try wandering around SE Asia and Europe this summer.
