G4Free 29" High Waisted Midi Skirt with Pockets UPF 50+ Quick Dry

First, I'll say that I love G4Free clothing and I have a lot of it. I was excited to get this skirt because I travel a lot, spill a lot of things on myself while I travel, and am careful about my luggage weight.This checks all of those boxes. It's a great option for wanderlust nomads, moms, and modest exercisers as it allows truly free movement. The fabric is...well...interesting. Not my favorite, sort of like an outdoor umbrella, but if you want water resistance, you are going to get that sort of fabric.I give it 5-stars because it's extremely well made. No weird seams, no loose threads. But it didn't fit my body well, and that's my fault. The listing claims it's High Waisted, and it is. More so, in fact, than most high waisted clothing I've worn.My waist is about 2 inches below everyone else's, so many high waisted things are actually RIB CAGE waisted on me. This midi skirt's elastic comes up so high that I feel like the Grinch in his yodeler's suit. Just under my bust. Not flattering. And since the skirt puffs out a lot just under the elastic, it obliterated my waist and over accentuated my hips to the point that I couldn't wear it outside in public.So if you have a proportionate waist (the elastic band is very tight and wide) and like high waisted things, this skirt will likely become one of your favorites. For those of us who look better in low-waisted jeans, I would choose another option from G4Free.Still 5-stars, just not for my body type.

I ordered a large based on the size chart and it fit me perfectly, so I recommend looking at that to figure out the size you need. The waistband on the skirt is thick and really comfortable because of how it is sewn onto the skirt. I love that there are two side pockets! The length of the skirt is perfect for a midi skirt. This skirt is really versatile because of the color and the material it's made from! I love this skirt and I wish it came in a lot more color options.

Style wise it is really cute and great for outdoor activities or casual wear.The only issue I ran into is with the fit around the waist. The elastic waistband runs pretty loose on top which makes it look a little unflattering and not as put together as I would like. It would be a great skirt if the waistband had a better fit and stayed in place.

I am obsessed with this skirt! The first time I wore it, I wore it for three days straight, and it worked in so many different situations. I was able to wear it to a more formal dinner event, but also playing in the backyard with my kids. The fabric holds up very well and also dries very quickly. The waistband is comfortable, but also secure- it doesn’t feel like it’s gonna fall down when you’re moving around. I also really like the length. I’m 5’ 6” and it hits at a very nice spot.I am someone that tends to chafe, so I just wear bike shorts underneath and then can literally do anything. I took it on a 4 day cruise and literally wore it 2 of the days!I would and will buy this again. As a mom of young kids, it brings everything I need.I kept meaning to get a good pic solo in the skirt and failed haha. So enjoy this very mediocre pic that does show the length well!

This is a very basic, staple sort of skirt. I ordered the size large and the fit is great. I normally wear a size 8-10 and the skirt fit well without riding up or bunching over at the waist. The skirt hit about mid calf for me.The material is thick but not heavy. I took a close up photo of the pocket so you can get an idea of what the material looks like up close. The blue is a very dark blue. I'd classify it as navy. It's soft with a tiny bit of give and stretch to it. It does not have an under slip but due to how thick and dark the skirt is, it didn't need it. The waist is elasticized and it has two functional pockets, a nice bonus!In the stock photo, the model appears somewhat sporty. I paired this skirt with a white blouse and pumps and wore it to church. So you can dress this up or down depending on how you style the skirt. It's quite versatile. All in all I'd recommend it. It's cute and comfy and was perfect for church.

This skirt is very nicely made, it is made of a poly type moisture wicking material that won't stay wet for very long if you sweat or get water on the skirt. It's lightweight and thin enough to feel cool in warm weather but thick enough that it's not see through. I thought this was the kind with the shorts built in but it is not, it's just the skirt. That was my mistake not the fault of the manufacturer. The stitching is very well done, there are no super long threads hanging off, or missing threads. The only complaint about it is the opening at the bottom is very narrow. This is not ideal for running as the bottom opening restricts running full speed, which seems to be at odds with the material it's made of, you'd think it was made for physical activity and running due to the construction.That being said it is versatile and can be worn for different events/daily, but just be aware you won't be able to run in it if that is the goal.

Cute casual skirt. I like how it looks, it is plain and a minimalist in style. The fabric is light and not very stretchy. The waistband is elastic. It is well made with nice stitching. I like that it has two deep pockets in the front. It is true to size, I ordered a medium and it fits well, maybe a bit on the loose side. I like that it is machine washable, so we’ll see how it does. It is about 17” in length. I don’t really care for the black belt, it is too long; I think I will cut it shorter. Overall, I’m satisfied with the skirt. It is a good value for your money.

I love the easy, athletic type fabric.The overall look of the skirt pairs so well with flats, sneakers, or DrMartens.The sold navy is the perfect color as a neutral and will be a solid piece for travel too!

This skirt is lightweight nylon blend that is breathable, and wrinkle-resistant. It does not have built in shorts which I do like. The skirt is comfortable to wear as it has stretch to it.The length of the skirt is also not too short. The sides can cinch up to make it shorter.The stretch to this skirt allows this to be worn hiking or other outdoor activities. However, I wouldn’t wear this hiking as there are no other pockets than the 2 slant pockets. This skirt is advertised as a cargo skirt, but I do not think it is a true cargo skirt.The belt is way too long. I will have to cut it shorter. The elastic waist is fairly comfortable and the belt is basically there for decoration as there isn't much to cinch up.Overall, it’s a decent skirt to wear for outdoor activities.

I’m telling you this thing is so versatile!The material is water resistant and SPF 50! It has some structure but still flows so beautifully! The waist band is wide and elastic so it fits perfect over my postpartum belly but snatches my waist in a little bit! And pockets?! Come on! The length so such a fabulous detail too! I will admit that the length is what threw me off originally with this skirt but I was proven wrong. It’s such a fun length!Highly recommend! Great price- I’m so thrilled!

However, I noticed a significant design issue with the belt: it only cinches the front part of the waistband and does not go around the back. Consequently, the belt is quite long and hangs down the front. I plan to cut and sew the end to prevent fraying. Additionally, I recommend wearing dark biker shorts underneath.Overall, it is a very nice product despite the belt's limitations. I would say the best feature is being exceptionally lightweight.

Excellent for a lake or boat day. It's a skirt, I won't use for hiking. It's cute and breezy, not see through. It falls right above the knee. The buckle belt, is just for looks. I don't understand why the long strand on the belt, it doesn't do anything. I will cut that part. The side fringes are great to style them. Overall good summer skirt
