Worked great with the larger companion pack

High quality, aesthetic and quite functional. I guess my only negative was the width. It’s quite narrow and the side pouches for holding water bottles (small ones), aren’t real functional when things are packed into the bag as it’s tough to slide a water bottle into it. But regardless, it was a great add-on to the larger companion backpack that you could attach to.

Use when walking on flat ground

I watched a video of a rheumatologist speaking about osteoporosis. He indicated that walking on flat ground is not a helpful exercise unless wearing a backpack with 5 lbs. of books (or equivalent) in it. This works great because unlike most weighted vests, the weight is concentrated in the back and pulls the shoulders back, not forward.

Great size and fairly well made for the price.

This backpack is a great size, perfect for a day trip or to stash your sweatshirt and a large water bottle. It’s fairly well made for the price but the interior fabric is crunchy - makes a lot of noise when getting things in and out. Since I use it for the gym I don’t really care, so for me this little pack is a win.
