Smaller than I needed , but good bag

I liked the bag. But the the description said up to 42.5 in. Like my old bag. Got it tried it on and it was way smaller.Broke out the tape measure and it would only go up to 34 in. Making it difficult to access the pockets. This would be good for a slim woman of a child.
