Description
UPF 50+ fabric, blocks over 98% of harmful UV rays for all-day sun protection, airy lightweight.
This top is perfect for workouts and everyday wear! The fabric is lightweight, breathable, and feels amazing on the skin. I love that it has UPF 50+ protection—it’s great for outdoor runs or walks without worrying about sun exposure. The fit is super flattering with just the right amount of stretch. It hugs your body nicely without feeling restrictive, and the cropped length pairs perfectly with high-waisted leggings. The mock neck and quarter zip give it a sleek, sporty look, and the thumbholes are a great added touch for comfort and functionality. It also holds up really well after washing—no shrinking, fading, or loss of shape. You can tell it’s made with quality materials.Overall, this is a stylish, functional, and comfortable activewear piece. Definitely a must-have if you’re looking for something versatile and well-made!
There is nothing wrong with the quality or fit of this sun shirt, the thumb holes are a nice add to keep sleeves from slipping up if you use them, but there are some issues. The minor one is that a fit person looks fine in it, but a more fluffy person - well, lets say it's not flattering. But it does the job, sun protection. Of course, as with all sun protecting wear, the bigger issue is that it makes a hot day WAY hotter. The wearability factor weighs heavily on your tolerance to heat - and there was a desire to get the heck out of it when the temps passed 90F. It's light weight enough, but lacks the wicking that might be desired if you are wanting to sweat it out in high heat rather than burn --- drink more water. This is best used on bright but fairly cool days/areas, like a beach with a stiff breeze and a bright sun, or a mountain with sun blazing sky and cool cool air. It might also serve well if you already have a sunburn to protect both your currently damage and reduce the risk of more exposure. More good than bad, a fair price, but it all comes down to your heat tolerance.
Picked this up for my wife and she found it very comfortable. She liked the cut and the thumb holes were a nice touch for keeping the sleeves in place during activity. Two things worth knowing before you buy. First, size up. I got her a large even though she normally wears a medium and it still fit on the smaller side. Second, the fabric is noticeably thin. She does not have a lot of confidence in it holding up over repeated washes, which is a fair concern for a $29 shirt.Comfortable enough to recommend but go in with realistic expectations on longevity and definitely do not go by your normal size.
Super soft and great style, fit is snug enough to be comfortable but not over tight and can be used as a base layer for skiing.
