I purchased this umbrella a year ago and it has been great for the Florida sun and rain! I love the large 68” size for extra sun and rain protection, however since it’s so large and I kept this umbrella in the car, I would have to store it behind the back seat headrests and it got discolored with the sun. I also noticed that the “closing” mechanism has to be wiggled a bit for it to lock, but other than that the umbrella is still holding up after a year’s worth of use.
I use this umbrella on my balcony of my 42nd floor apartment in NYC. I cannot have a regular size umbrella up here for safety purposes so I rigged this umbrella to a pole and it has done exactly what I wanted - created enough shade for me and my dog and cat (when she comes out). Vey sturdy and easy to use. I like to slow open. I know not the traditional way to use an umbrella like this but for me, it is perfect.
I liked the handle and the size, but the UV protection felt like any other umbrella i have and not as sun protective. Especially on a hot, sunny day.
The black umbrella is very good with a vent that helps in windy conditions. It opens with a powerful whoosh. However, it wobbles around in the slot for umbrellas on my new Bag Boy Nitron collapsible golf cart, which doesn’t have a mechanism for tightening the handle into place. It’s more a knock on the bag than the umbrella, which for my purposes is meant for sun protection in the Northern California summer. The umbrella has an SPF 50 rating. I’ve been getting around the problem by wrapping a piece of sham wow fabric around the base to make it fit snuggly. It’s hasn’t rained yet so no data on water resistance.
It's a fairly strong umbrella but has a some weight. It opens up pretty good also. It's also has 2 straps which is cumbersome to secure.But I hate it for one reason. It won't stay standing up on hard surfaces. Every umbrella I've ever had, had a rubber tip. This one doesn't, and if you lean it on a wall on anything but carpet, it falls down. Such a simple design element makes all the difference. I won't buy another.
I don’t usually write reviews but absolutely love this umbrella! I take down my canvas patio umbrellas in the winter and needed a comparably sized, sturdy umbrella for the rain/wind. This will be the third year I’ve zip tied it to my patio stand to protect my hummingbird feeders so they’re able to continue using them through the winter months. Last year very strong winds tipped the stand during a storm, much to my surprise the umbrella was still intact! The canopy had come undone from a couple of the ribs but they were easily reattached. It has faded over the past couple of years but that hasn’t affected its durability!
It does a great job keeping you shaded at hot/sunny games, but leaks in the rain.
So happy I chose this one it's light weigh, huge and the color is so cute
Great protection for outdoor sports events.
Our lunch time walks are much cooler with this umbrella. It covers my husband my comfortably and keeps the sun off our heads as the temperatures rise.

Good quality umbrella. Even the smallest size provides a lot of coverage. The silver lining effectively cuts the heat when in the sun, unlike the invisible UV protectant fabric. There are 2 Velcro straps that keep the umbrella closed. It fits nicely in the bag, where other umbrellas soon to large for the bags they come with. Withstands the wind, even on gusty days.Overall happy with this umbrella, but I would like an auto close button.
I bought this umbrella for the size and because it said it was wind proof. Size is great, but it is not wind proof. If you are looking for a wind proof umbrella, this one is not for you.

I like the diameter of this umbrella. It shades well. It is much heavier than I expected, though, and would consider getting one that has a stand or chair mount if you don’t have strong arms, or are elderly.
