G4Free 40L Packable Backpack Waterproof Travel Backpack

Colorful G4 free backpack.
It does not come with instructions to how to compress it into the pouch, but it still is a nice simple bag made to carry light things not fill it to the max. Provides decent padding support for the back/shoulders. That could be improved. The quality is nice for a packable spare backpack for trips.

I love how big and lightweight this bag is, also that it has backpack straps as well as hand straps. It comes with a pouch to fold it and carry it into, so I usually have it inside my work backpack and on my way home I stop at the supermarket and pull it out to carry the things I'm going to cook that night.
All around, I am pretty happy with this bag.

I actually own a couple more G4Free backpacks and I like them a lot. This one is slightly smaller, it comes in good size to fit in overhead bins and in the luggage sizing bins. There is actually a sleeve inside for a laptop or for an insert to add rigidity and on the outside there is a zippered pocket and side mesh pockets on both sides. The material is pretty tough, actually better than the material in my other backpacks, and it folds into a small tote which can be used to store it so it doesn't take up much space when not in use or used as a small packing cube for all your electronics or toiletries for example.
It is not perfect though, the improvements I would suggest are:
- A chest strap
- A pocket or other way to tuck away the shoulder straps when not in use so they won't snag
- A way to lash down the top such as a strap which comes over the top with an adjustable buckle. Currently it is just held closed by the zipper.
- A tougher material on the bottom which won't wear easily when you set it down on the floor and is easy to clean
With these changes it would be a great ultralight travel backpack, which can be used as a tote bag also and stores small. I am contemplating making these modifications myself to use it in an upcoming trip.

Well-made backpack with ample space and easy maintenance. Completely satisfied. Great value for money.

A lightweight OD Green backpack cooler. A lot lighter and less durable than I thought so let’s see how it holds up to Ohio State tailgating at the “Shoe”. The lightweight was has me skeptical…

I have some new PPE that showed up in a cardboard box and I needed a bag to keep / haul it around with so I ordered this bag thinking it would be large enough. It worked out just like I needed, I can fit my helmet, respirator and all of the accessories that go with them. For the price I’ll take this over the bag that’s sold for 3x from the OEM.

Loved this for my wife, but in use it is very deep. You may find that useful when tail gating or camping. That would be awesome. For taking a bag to the gym, this is too big.

Really small when not in use, this holds a lot of stuff. Good quality and comfortable

good packable backpack. i keep it in my motorcycle topbox in case i go shoping and need a bag because alot of stores where i live dont give bags out anymore. also nice if i buy to much to fit inside my top case i can just throw it all in the backpack and carry it on my back for the ride home. not the most comfortable backpack but holds alot and packs down pretty small.

This is a no frills commuter backpack.

The quality isn't the best. Some of the straps have frayed edges. But nothing that affects functionality.

The fabric is a bit thin, but still fine. This is probably best for light commuting.

Overall, it's fine for $27
